If you can – bring bikes for bike friendly trails.
A chess board can bring over other chess players, and invite some great conversations. and you don’t have to be a great player. Same for a checker board.
Pre cooking a few meals and freezing them-gives Mom the night off-this is her vacation also.
5 gallon buckets are great for dish washing, gathering small pieces of wood for the fire, upside down for a spare seat.
